Selena Gomez Surprises Justin Bieber On Set


Selena Gomez gives boyfriend Justin Bieber a kiss on the cheek as she stops by his music video set in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (April 21).

The 19-year-old actress/singer was so excited to be on set, she ran straight into Justin‘s arms!

JJJ recently chatted with Selena to chat about her new fragrance, which debuts next month at Macy’s.

“I always tell my fans that they mean everything to me and that their opinions matter and that I really do care about what they think, so I asked them to be a part of creating the fragrance. It was perfect, they had great opinions. It was fun!,” she shared with us.

Selena added about owning any other celeb fragrances when she was younger, “I did! I had a Selena doll and a Britney doll. I also had Mary-Kate and Ashley’s fragrances, I actually got their new fragrances every Christmas.”

Selena Sat Down With Zap2it To Talk About Her Fragrance

The actress and musician, whose eponymous, berry-infused vanilla perfume hits Macy’s retailers in May, tells Zap2It that her latest entrepreneurial endeavor is not only an experiment in ingenuity, but a project inspired by the fashionable sisters.
“Every Christmas, I got Mary Kate and Ashley’s deluxe; you could smell like Mary Kate, or you could smell like Ashley,” she says. “It’s always been something I wanted to do.”
Gomez admits to having at least 20 fragrances at home and describes the process of concocting her own perfume as an intricate learning experience. Gomez began the venture by smelling all her options, then narrowed it down to 20 before turning to her fans for advice.

“We did something different that nobody’s really done before, and I had my fans be involved,” says Gomez. “So, we did a whole campaign online for months and my fans got to pick out and put things together, and we finally chose 12 [fans] from all over the world. They came to New York with me and we had three different bottles, and we smelled each of the fragrances together. They helped me create it.”Now bottled up in a violet silhouette with gold and purple lips springing from its tip, it was the packaging, says the 19-year-old starlet, that was most difficult about devising her own perfume.

“I wanted it to be tall,” she says. “I like the fact that it stands out because when I have my perfumes, I always go to the ones that are tallest in the morning. And the design of the bottle is almost like a gown in a way, so it represents me on the carpet. And the lips are fun. They’re youthful. You can play with it. I get bored and play with things.”
Gomez dismisses any potential rivalry between her and boyfriend Justin Bieber, who also released a fragrance recently, and says he’s merely one of her many muses.She adds, “Everything I do is inspired by something, whether it’s him or my family or my fans.”

Selena Named Ambassador for Ryan Seacrest

“We have invited Selena to be an official ambassador to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, because she does such amazing work, and the kids absolutely melt when you’re around,” Ryan Seacrest announced on Friday. “Thank you for accepting that!”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, as ambassador, Gomez visits kids in centers in Atlanta and Philadelphia. There will soon be centers in Orange County, Boston, and Selena’s hometown in Dallas. The actress has been involved with the foundation for over a year. She recalls one child stealing her heart.

“I met Julia and she was so sweet and adorable. I did a concert a long time ago on Valentine’s Day, and I gave my entire audience roses since it was Valentine’s Day. A year later she [Julia] had saved that rose and put it in foil. She showed me that she still had it, and I was super emotional.”

Gomez says it was a “sweet moment.” She later went back to visit the little girl. Since she had been practicing guitar, Julia got a chance to play one of Selena’s songs while Selena sang.

“From the beginning, I could tell that Selena really understood our mission. I’m so grateful that she’s decided to take on this larger role with us, joining our efforts to bring hope and spirit to seriously ill and injured kids,” Seacrest added.

Gomez couldn’t be more “thrilled” about her title.

“The Ryan Seacrest Foundation does such incredible work and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” Selena sais in a statement, according to Just Jared. “I’m particularly excited about helping to launch a media center in my hometown of Dallas at the Children’s Medical Center and giving back to the kids there.”

Closing out the week with a drive-thru lunch date, Justin Bieber escorted his lovely singer/actress girlfriend Selena Gomez over to a local Chick-fil-A in Los Angeles, California on Friday afternoon (April 6).

Sending mixed messages, the “Boyfriend” teen sensation looked to be trying to go incognito while hiding behind a black winter hat and big black shades – unfortunately his ride was about as head-turning as it could possibly be.

As for what he was driving, Bieber happened to be behind the wheel of a blindingly shiny chrome Fisker Karma – as the electric luxury vehicle was doted to him as a birthday present during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.

Meanwhile, once handed their chicken meals and shakes, the young Hollywood power couple proceeded to speed off to the Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood.

Selena Gomez To Get The Glee Treatment

Selena Gomez is going back to high school…sort of!
E! News has learned exclusively that Selena’s hit song, “Love You Like a Love Song,” will be featured on an upcoming episode of Glee. And it’s a big episode at that.
So which milestone episode will it appear in?
The ladies of New Directions, specifically Santana (Naya Rivera) and Rachel (Lea Michele) will be tackling “Love You Like a Love Song,” and it all goes down in Glee’s sure-to-be epic prom episode. Get excited, people!
A source on the set says that the episode, written by series creator Ryan Murphy, was shot last week and that Lea turned in “a really powerful performance” of the omnipresent radio hit. On April 4, Michele tweeted, “Longest. Prom. Ever.”
This is the first time one of Gomez’s song will be featured on the show.  Compared to her BF Justin Bieber, however, Gomez is slacking. Glee has featured Bieber’s hits “Somebody to Love” and “Baby.”
Another teen dream that could be getting the Glee treatment? One Direction! Star Chris Colfer recently told us, “Maybe we’ll do a One Direction tribute episode.”

EXCLUSIVE: Multiple offers are on the table for Aftershock, an earthquake thriller scripted by Eli Roth, Nicolas Lopez & Guillermo Amoedo. It’s the next ‘Eli Roth Presents’ film, and it marks the English-language debut from director Nicolas Lopez. His last two films, Que Pena Tu Vida and Que Pena Tu Boda, were the highest-grossing Chilean films of 2010 and 2011. Roth most recently produced The Last Exorcism, a microbudget film that grossed $70 million worldwide. I’m told that several distributors are in talks, with the Weinstein Company and Relativity Media among them. The dealmaking will likely take place in Berlin, where, after the success of small-budget genre films like Chronicle and The Last Exorcism, these movies are becoming a license to print money. I’ve heard from potential buyers that the plot revolves around an insane asylum on an island, where the inmates escape during the quake.

Roth and Lopez wrote the story together, inspired by the latter’s experience when an earthquake devastated Chile in 2010. The film is four weeks into production in Chile. In his first big acting role since Inglourious Basterds, Roth plays the lead. Among the other cast is Selena Gomez, who was in Chile doing a concert and came over to do a cameo. Lopez’s frequent collaborators Ariel Levy, Nicolas Martinez and Lorenza Izzo also star, along with Natasha Yarovenko, Andrea Osvart and Miguel Asensio. Latter has produced all of Lopez’s films.
